School discipline
The discipline layer of Rules & Record: one page per state on K-12 school discipline for every student, not only students in special education. Each page quotes the state's own statutes and regulations (the notice and hearing required before an exclusion, the lines drawn between short-term and long-term removal, what continues during a removal, access to discipline records, and the appeal routes) and maps the questions the state expressly assigns to district policy, so it is clear which answers live only in a district's own code of conduct. Sources are statute, regulation, and agency guidance; no case law is quoted. These are potentially relevant official sources, not a determination of which governs any situation. Pages are added as each one clears verification; a state without a link is not yet published, not silent by choice.

For a student with an IEP or Section 504 plan, the disability layer — evaluations, placements, services, and the dispute routes — lives on the special education pages; each discipline page links its state's page directly.
